First in "The Heavenlies" paintings series, it depicts the profound dividing of the waters from the waters with His voice.
"Fun to paint. It started quietly with grays, then a year later I came back to it and it exploded with glowing colors."
Inspired by Genesis 1
...where land, sea and sky still flourish in His wonderment.

"Painted almost in the dark at the end of a long day, it was fun to let it settle onto the canvas and discover it in the morning." As the end of God's second work day, it depicts His peroration and it was so.
- Inspired by Genesis 1:7
Third in "The Heavenlies" Series, it portrays the exuberant heights of the waters above the waters in the beginning.
"This painting went through a dynamic growth spurt as it rose from the horizon over several days of painting."
Inspired by Genesis 1
Expressing the beautiful joy when "God called the firmament Heaven", this painting is unfinished.
"Painting this refreshes my heart, a pure joy."
Note: The larger the print, the better. The photo image here just can't capture the subtlety of the strokes, but it's depths are quite translucent.
Inspired by Genesis 1: 8

"Let the dry land appear" - Genesis 1:9 - 10

Please enjoy as you explore its subtleties and experience the sweetness.
